Youth Mental Wellness Resources

Motivated by the fact that approximately 446 youth aged 10 to 24 die by suicide every year in Canada, the third highest youth suicide rate in the industrialized world, YMHC has produced youth mental wellness tools and resources in order to place them in the hands of those who need them.

YMHC has attracted international acclaim and interest.  By invitation of the bi-annual International Association for Youth Mental Health Conference, YMHC will proudly showcase its youth mental health wellness resources in Australia in October 2019

We will be launching the five youth mental wellness resources at the Fair. The resources are evidence, strength and hope based, incorporating international best practices in mental health including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and Social-Emotional Learning.

Important Message:

Youth Mental Health Canada appreciates your support. We are a grassroots, community-based non-profit organization without government or corporate funding. As we develop a sustainable, educational model, we ask for your patience in getting resources to people.

We have a limited supply of YMHC youth mental wellness resources. We will continue to print small quantities of books until we get enough pre-order payments to allow us to print bigger quantities.

As awareness and interest in our resources grows, we expect that our ability to print more books will also grow.

Books can be printed in one or two weeks and get to you from pre-order to shipping in a matter of weeks.

Tools for Mental Wellness

The tools we have developed are to encourage greater expressions of support and compassion and to decrease mental health stigma. We have two greeting card sets: one featuring animal caricatures and puns and the other with inspirational poetry and nature images. We will be using the cards in a Compassionate Card Service we will create in the future.
